Metal Slug Anthology, which includes Metal Slug X and Metal Slug 6, is the thirty-first game played Jon and Arin on Game Grumps.

Playthrough Edit

Metal Slug X Edit

Jon is player 1, and Arin is player 2. They work cooperatively to run and gun through waves and waves of enemies. Metal Slug X allows them to continue infinitely, so they never had a true game over. The Grumps manage to finish the game, despite the game's lag and difficulty, doing so in five episodes.

Metal Slug 6 Edit

Metal Slug 6 is played temporarily to extend Metal Slug X's finale to 10 minutes in length.

Episodes Edit

  1. Heavy Machine Gun
  2. Token Taker
  3. Fencing
  4. Paula Ticks
  5. Finale

Game information Edit

Metal Slug Anthology is a video game compilation for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and the Wii. The Wii version boasts different controller configurations, most taking advantage of the Wii Remote, but the Classic Controller is not supported. The game also marks the return of SNK Playmore as a third-party developer for a Nintendo console since the SNES era.

The graphics are exactly the same as the original versions released on arcade (and the more recent titles published on PS2 and Xbox). Cooperative gameplay is enabled on the console versions of the game, while the PSP version has a wireless mode so that two people can play together and work as a team.

A downloadable version was made available on the PlayStation Store for PSP on October 1, 2009.
