NEW Shovel Knight Amiibo!! - GrumpOut
"NEW Shovel Knight Amiibo!!" is a video to help Yacht Club Games unveil the titular amiibo for Shovel Knight. The video first aired at the Nindies@Night event before PAX Prime 2015. It was subsequently uploaded to GrumpOut and the official Nintendo of America YouTube channel.
The video starts with Arin attempting to dig a hole with a shovel inside. He tells Barry that he just can't do it, while Barry adds that it's too hard for just one person to be doing. Danny comes in to ask what's going on, and if anyone else attempted to dig this hole. Suzy reveals that she had, but had to cover her hands in gauze as a result. Dan also asks if Ross tried, which is immediately scoffed at. Dan once again brings up the idea that two people can dig at the same time, then leaves. Arin laughs at this idea, before Ross comes in to show everyone "something cool." He then throws a Shovel Knight amiibo to Arin, who holds it triumphantly. Suzy and Barry marvel at it. Arin is also impressed, but has no idea what it is. Ross can't believe Arin can't figure out that it's shovel knight. The video then describes the features the Shovel Knight amiibo unlocks in the Wii U and 3DS versions of Shovel Knight (co-op for the Wii U version only, along with challenge stages and new gear for both version). As a result of having the amiibo, Arin and Ross now have two shovels, and Arin wears a Shovel Knight helmet.
