"Stumped" is the twenty-fourth episode of Grump's Dream Course on Game Grumps VS.

Game Progress[]

Arin and Danny continue trying to figure out how to beat Zero Slope. Arin consults the manual, and assumes that there's another perspective trick at play that makes it look as though they're much higher than they appear on the level. Arin theorizes that they have to drop off the edge of the map, and he and Danny attempt the strategy to see if it'll work. Arin assumes the name of the map is also a clue, and looks it up on Google to help them solve it.

Eventually Danny uses one of the ramps to roll off the level and on top of the invisible void. Danny uses this to reach the other side of the level, claiming the victory at long last.

Discussions[]

Arin mentions how he showed a map of the last level to Barry between episodes, and Barry agreed that the level was unfairly designed.

Arin becomes more and more desperate as they play the level, to the point of wanting to give up on Ross' Dungeon outright if they can't figure it out. He also asks viewers to write in and explain how the level works.

Trivia[]

  • While Dan and Arin assume the level has an invisible bridge or perspective trick of some sort, in reality this level uses a glitch in the game engine that allows the player to roll on the bottom of the level, underneath its kill-plane. Fans agreed that this level was far too difficult for its own good, and the level will likely be patched to be easier in later editions of the ROM hack.
