The Typing of the Dead: Overkill is the third and last game played by the Game Grumps during the 2014 Scare to Care live charity stream.
The game was played by Arin, Danny, Ross, Barry, Suzy and Holly along with Erin, Jared and Vernon from Hot Pepper Gaming. They played the game for around 75 minutes in co-op mode using Vernon's brother's laptop together with the main streaming PC. All present members of the Game Grumps and HPG crew had at least one turn playing the game. When playing the first chapter, the second player would switch at each suitable break in the action, roughly every 5 minutes, but then they instead started switching both players after each full chapter of the story, roughly every 15 minutes.

- When Ross said he wanted to play The Typing of the Dead: Overkill on the stream, Arin mentioned that he has the original game on the Dreamcast "back home", if he would like to play that.
