Game Information[]
Trauma Center: Second Opinion builds upon the DS version with enhanced graphics, new controls, and additional content. Players use the Wii Remote to utilise each of the instruments, whilst the Nunchuk is used to quickly select instruments. A new instrument exclusive to the Wii version is the defibrilator, replacing the heart massage, which requires players to use both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to resuscitate patients. Instruments are also streamlined, with some items such as bandages only appearing when neccessary.
Second Opinion features an exclusive set of "Z-missions", which are gradually unlocked as the player progresses through the main campaign. During these missions, players play as another doctor, Nozomi Weaver, whose Healing Touch ability restores a patient's vitals with successful actions. These missions make additional use of the Wii's features, such as using gyroscopic controls to rotate bone fragments into place and position light sources in dark areas. Completing all of these missions, along with the main story campaign, unlocks an additional chapter featuring both doctors.

Trivia[]
- Arin parodied Trauma Center: Second Opinion in an episode of the Awesome Series titled Awesome Center REDUX.
- The grumps play the game in a makeshift co-operative mode, where Arin uses the Wii Remote to perform and Danny uses the Nunchuck to hand Arin the tools.
- Episode 8 was uploaded before 7. This is the second time this has occurred as of recent.
- This game is one of eight games in the series to have over 50 episodes (others include Super Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Pokémon FireRed, Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario 64 and Sonic '06, and Bloodborne).
- At 50 episodes, it has the eighth highest episode count of any series on the channel.
- It is also the fourth-longest series that the Grumps have not finished on the show, and the longest of which they did not complete the primary campaign (the three longer games only had DLC or bonus levels unfinished.)
