"Zelda VS Crab" is the fourth episode of Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon on Game Grumps.

Game Progress[]

Arin returns to Sakado village to stock up on ropes, then goes to Kobitan to grab the lantern, then a key from the barn. He then meets a woman asking for an Arpagos egg (which he mishears as an Arpagos steak), then leaves.

His next stop is the Ahitaru desert, but gets stuck on fighting a giant crab.

Discussions[]

Danny starts singing along to the game's background music, with lyrics that revolve around someone who has a "baby penis".

Arin mentions a sushi restaurant he found named Samurai Sushi, which is the most generic possible name for a Japanese restaurant besides 'Ninja'. Danny then ponders how most Japanese restaurants have names that use the same four syllables.

Danny and Arin discuss the story of Ponce De Leone, including his origins, assuming he's French. They're also astounded by the house in Kobitan, which has a useless ladder and a sign that reads "Hame" on the wall.

Arin compares the desert area to Tattoine, and wonders if the game was originally meant to be based on a different IP. Danny confirms that it looks similar to those cases, comparing the game to Super Mario Bros. 2.
